The only way to deter a male from a female is heat is to have him neutered. Male dogs will do many things to reach a female in heat--dig under fences, jump fences, break gates, etc. If you have a female in heat in the house you need to keep them separate or an unwanted litter will result. This male dog should not be left unsupervised at any time while this female is in heat.

My dog has been going nuts for days I seen something we thought was stupid and funny so we tried it it said to rub menthol on her tail we didn't have any so we used a life saver he has not cried or gone near her since and he would not stay away he drove us nuts!!!
