Not true, you have to start as you mean to go on, the puppies mum would tell it when it had done something out of order. Discipline does not mean hitting it means teaching. Give basic commands like "come" and praise when they are responded to. Don't allow puppy to bite you or play tug of war with your clothes this encourages aggression.
The fact that you are eager to produce a well behaved dog probably means you will be a good dog parent. Love and care means telling your offspring how to behave.

Are you being serious? At 8 weeks the puppy will be severely traumatised because of forceful separation from its mother. I suggest you give the puppy some love and care or find it a home with someone who is more experienced in looking after puppies.
