I have a 6 year old bulldog who has always wet anything that he has slept on, including my sofa! Even if it is a small towel, the vet said it was a territorial/comfort thing. He now sleeps on the vinyl floor in the kitchen or in kennel in garden with no bedding, seems a shame but you can't replace/wash a dog bed every day and he sleeps well enough.

It toke me a long 6 months to finally train my red nose and had to control the water dish because she loves to drink water since 6 weeks old.Tried many things-nose in it,tapped nose, kennel after she did it.Finally making her sit by back door and telling her to stay and telling her to pee outside she finally started to get idea and sat by door when she had to go.Plus I don't think she liked to see/hear me mad anymore.by the way the training pads she just loved to chew up!

If it is a puppy this is the best time to break habits that are unfavorable. Urinating is broken in many ways one strict rule for any method is consistency. If you are consistent then they dog will learn faster. Paper training (preferably only for a pup since the feces of an adult are quit large) is a good starter so if the dog does urinate or defiacate it will be in the same spot. Or you can use the outside method by taking the dog or pup out side when signs of using the restroom occur. Remember consistency and to take the pup or dog to the potty place when bathroom using signs occur

I was told by a reputable breeder that this is a common problem amoung bulldogs. I was told to remove the bedding from the confined area in which they sleep for a few weeks, and then they are supposed to get out of the habit while just sleeping on the floor. After a few weeks pass by you should replace their bedding after they have gotten out of the habit. The urinating on beds should stop.

Dogs tend to urinate in the house for multiple reasons.
If it is a pitbull it may be a territorial thing.
First: How old is your dog? If your dog is really young

Take them outside after they eat sleep and drink. If they have been in for a while them take them out for the heck of it.
