Carpet clean a large area around were your dogs been urinating.  Then get a product from NorthWoods called molocule 1000 its a spray it has enzimes that remove the odor that will help with the smell gone the dogs may not go back to it but you have to saturate the area it is a very safe product Ive used it in my pet store from feretts to cats people had in or apt complex sfter tenants left it WORKS  if the dog can smell it there it will repeate the pattern.  You could also after that get a devise that sprays the dog everytime he or she goes to that area. The other response you got was a good one but you still need to remove all traces of smell remember your dog can smell things you can't.  Also a urin spot on a carpet may look small but it acts like a upside down pyimid just like when you wet a ponge youll see a small dot on to but on bottom its saturated.  Hope this helps

Buy a cleaner from a pet store /pets smart /pet co. A special spray that will remove the scent from the pee/poop that the dog or cat peeed or pooped before.because dogs love to pee or poop on the same spot because of that chemical in the dogs yurin /feces . That should work with no problem. Take care .
