They're absolutely wonderful actually... Great dogs with a great temperament, great family dogs, and if you treat them well they good around just about everybody. Loyal, just great really, you can tell that I really love mine...
Here are some pictures of my shar pei and pit bull mix that I rescued
Mine is beautiful. He's got a brindle coat with a white chest and white feet. He's taller than a typical Pitbull and his head is squared more and has a few wrinkles like a Shar Pei but his body is built like a Pit. I would upload a photo but it doesn't look like that's an option. Actually, if you look up "Pit-Shar Pei mix" in images, you should find what you're looking for.
They look so cute I have a 3 dogs the girl is shar-pei and the oldest guy is a pit and they mixed and had puppies and they are strong lovable and have lots and lots of energy but it also depends on the girl dog sometimes they will look pure shar-pei and others pure pit
I will send you a picture I have a 2 1/2 year old shar Pei pittbull brindle girl
They can be really beautiful dogs! I own 2 shar pei pitbull mixes at the moment and have owned 2 others and know of 4 or 5 around my area and in the past (my first time leaving the nest) my room mate had a shar pei pitbull mix.. For myself I personally think they make an absolute beautiful mix.. Nice fur, nice muscle and bone structure, athletic, not excessivly wrinkly and seem to have less health issues but I guess its all about how they are bred.. I just have not seen a poorly bred one yet.. It seems to me that when you mix these 2 breeds you get a more classic (1960 and before) looking shar pei.. It seems to me that todays shar pei are smaller and way more wrinkly.. But of course they would be because that is the traits they have been consistently bred for.. I also think the lab and shar pei mixes are great looking dogs but I prefer the stronger bodies of the pit.. I would be interested to know where the other posters are from.. One of my shar pei pitbull mixes had some brindle bros and sis's.. Cool looking dogs.. Also the first poster.. You bred a pure pit with a pure shar pei?? Can I ask what each parent was?? I live in BC canada.. PS have you both seen many of the mix around?
They are gorgeous! I've been dreaming of getting one when I move out of the house, only because when I was younger I ended up adopting one that was wondering around our neighborhood. He was a dark tan almost orange, and he had a very square head and a curly tail, and very loose skin, but a strong set of muscles underneath. There was no problem with training him, he just wanted to be fed A LOT! I ended up giving him to a friend of mine when he lost his dog since I already had 1 and I haven't seen him since, but I still know thats the breed of dog I want. Give them exercise and a big bowl of food and they'll love you forever!
She could be mixed between the 2, shar-pei's are known for their wrinkles, but mastiffs also have a wrinkled face, looking at a picture would be kind "iffy" to get a good answer . They can vary when they are mixed with 2 breeds. 1 puppy could turn out with no wrinkles and the next could have a body full of wrinkles. Its best to go to a VET and see if they can determine your dogs DNA. Shar-peis are normally shorter females weighing in at a range 40-50#s males just a bit larger. The head on a Shar-pei is large and broad. Feel the ears and see if they have a thickness to them. A Pits ears are normally set higher on the head. And when expressing emotions they often reveal the wrinkles on its forehead. So wrinkles is common in a lot of dogs. Goodluck!!!
I don't know what they would look like but a sherman Shepherd and great dane look sick it awesome
Sexy my ruby is just beautiful
