I have two American Bulldog/German Shepherd mix puppies. They are 7 months old and they're both girls. Right now, they're about 55 lbs as well....AND GROWING! My vet said that they'll probably be about 70-80 lbs by the time they're fully grown. What's funny is that they look completely different. One of them looks like a German Shepherd and the other one looks like an American Bulldog with green eyes. Nobody believes us when we say that they're from the same litter! I have a german shepherd and american bulldog...He is 50lbs at 6months of age. The vet said he will stay in this range since he was the runt of the pack. The mother, who was the shepherd was only like 45lbs...She was very small and the dad which is the bulldog, was 80lbs...His name is Herbie an he is the cutest dog ever...I have pics if anyone wants to see what he looks like...
I just got at 3 month old one, and it's about 25 pounds, looking forward to seeing this dog grown up. He's a cute pup now. But his dad was an alpha shepherd and his mom was an Alpha American Bulldog,,,he's not Alpha, but he's looking like he's going to be pretty sturdy!
I have an American Bulldog / German Shepherd mix. He's a rescue dog and will be 10 in January. He's not a BIG guy and only weighs about 70lb but he is THE BEST pet I've ever had. Very obedient and extremely protective. He will always be a puppy to me but he is getting silver around the snout. He also has one brown eye and one big blue eye.
I have the same mix, he has the color patterns of a German shepherd but body of an American bulldog, really strong carries around my kettle bell weights in the house. He is a yr old and is weighing in at 95lbs, the vet said he is still getting bigger. Best temperament and great guard dog.
Our friends have this mix. He is the sweetest thing, but he looks like a miniature pony. He seems to have topped off at 130 lbs. His parents wer large too, but wow! He gets along great with kids and other animals. He is very obedient too.
We have this mix, his father was a purbred german shepherd for the Jacksonville Florida Sherrif's office and his mother was a little white american bulldog that lived next door to us. He is 3 now, is about 26" high, weighs between 75 and 80 lbs. He looks like a shepherd, but has the coat and stance of a bulldog. His ears stand straight up , but his snout is shorter. He was the runt of the litter but he is very competitive, he climbs trees and has an incredible personality. He tries to talk to us and I swear I have heard him say No and mama, lol. He is by far the best dog we ever owned.
