You need to get your cat to a vet straight away. It sounds as though your cat might have diabetes as excessive thirst and loosing weight can indicate diabetes. It could also indicate a kidney problem. The cat needs proper medical help to sort out the problem. Many animals can be very successfully treated if they have diabetes but it will only get worse if it ignored.

Obviously I can't make a diagnosis I'm not trained but I have cared for animals all my life and have an idea of some of the symptoms and complaints pets can suffer from.
In the case of your cat it's essential that you get the animal to the vet straight away and get to the root cause of the problem. Our animals depend on us so much for their welfare. I hope your cat is OK after seeing the vet.
