Swelling in the stomach (uterus) Milk in the nipples, mothering, nurturing instinct..I had a German Shepard that showed every sign..Even my Vet told me when to expect the birth. 2 weeks past the due date I took her back and the xrays revealed NO PUPS...It was a false pregnancy...The vet said the female wants to be a mother so badly that she manages to convince her body she is in fact impregnated when in fact she is not...Thus meaning.....False Pregnancy...
