After talking to several people AND my vet, I've learned the following:
Flea collars do not work and are a waste of your money and most importantly? The chemicals in the flea collar CAN be bad for your dogs lungs and even irritate their skin. My cat has fleas and her flea collar made everything WORSE. Do not put a flea collar on your dog ever!! It's bad for them.
Also -- unless you do your research, you could buy a REALLY bad brand of flea collar and it could make your dog sick.
By the way when I had a flea collar on my cat, I was still finding live fleas after having it on her for 2 weeks.
