While she is in heat, you may want to find her a puppy diaper, but an infant diaper will work just as well- that way you won't have to clean up the spotting. If you do not want her bred, make sure to keep a close eye on her while she is outside. One thing to remember is that even after she has quit bleeding, she will still be in heat and fertile for at least a week. You do not have to feed her any different, or do anything else special, just love her the same as you always do.
