You can tell the sex of your ducks once they are 1-2 months old. Males will have a drake tail which is one of the tail feathers will curl up where as the females have straight tails. Also I believe that the males are more vocal than the females.

Moreover drakes have whispering and raspy quack whereas females have loud and clear sound. Another difference is that drakes have curled sex feathers which are not generally present in female ducks.
