In short yes they can. Especially if holed up in a tight spot.
Can A Rat Kill A Cat?
I found my cat dead yesterday, she had no visible marks on her but her tail was all bushy and her mouth wide open like she had a shock. Just wondered if a rat could have done this?? I'm stumped as to how she was died
