I have been giving my yorkie baby rib bones in the past and never had any problems until today... He was crying after eating more than half of a bone... I took him to the ER they found nothing in the throat told me to observe him and if he acts strange then they can take ex-rays... So far he looks much better... Maybe there was something stuck in his throat... THis is the last time my dog ate any kind of bone,,., Very stressful My little friend...

Take him to the emergency vet...he could have a twisted stomach, which can happen when a dog eats table food or eats too fast. Is treatable if you act quickly.

Take him to the vet. He could have perforated his stomach or intestines with the pork bone. Pork bones are usually too hard to break down, so they are often swallowed whole and may cause problems.

you can feed your dog a ham bone just not all the time, maybe just once a month or something or one every two weeks just to give them a little treat now and again. Also as you mentioned that he seemed to eat grass the be sick, well this is simply only because the ham bone might be to rich for him and is not used to the richness of those foods yet but he was only eating the grass to put lining on his stomach so that he can be sick. And as you can see he was ok again after a little so it is perfectly fine to give your dog a treat.

I would do what the others said. I had a dog that ate a rib bone that our neighbor gave him and the dog died. I had no idea what the neighbor done until it was to late. The neighbor was tring to help but it killed him.

You should call your local vet asap because their might be a bone stock or trying to rip open

Did he eat the whole ham bone? The meat on the bone could have upset his digestion and that could be the reason for the yellow stuff. If it keep on you need to take him to the vet

I'd say just take him to the vets. That's scary. I hope the best for you! <33
