When Can Puppies Start To Bark?
My chihuahua puppy Harvey is quite the crier, but not so much of a barker. He's barked about 2 times since we have had him in his new home at the age of 8 weeks, and is now 12 weeks and 5 days. A lot of the time it just depends on the breed of dog you own, and simply his/her personality!

Mine is 10weeks old, a blue-tick coon-hound/mix, and so far all he does is whine. I would wait till your puppy is about 5/6mo. Before he begins barking. Otherwise its fine.
Mine usually start talking around 2-3 weeks old.but they are boxers which are usually pretty talkative.other breeds may start later.heres one of our babies talking to one of our girls.shes 4 weeks old.
