My blue pit looked like she had pimples on her back and I took her to the vet. They gave her a shot and some medication as well as shampoo. It went away in a couple of days. They said she had had an allergic reaction to something. Take her to Banfield if you have one near you. I could not ask for a better vet and they have a plan you can put your pets on starting at puppy age and going up, this plan really saves us on our vet bills.

Pit bulls are very prone to allergies. This may become a chronic problem you need to manage. Another common problem in puppies are mites. Ringworm and skin infections also may be the problem. Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause of the bumps. Treatment will vary depending upon the cause. Be very careful using any kind of spray around the eyes--this can damage the eyes.
