You should probably go to the vet. The only other thing I could think of it coming from is fleas their poop looks like little grains of dirt
My Dog Has A Black, Dirt-like Substance Around Her Genitals. I Have Tried To Rub It And Off And It Sort Of Comes Off, But I Am Afraid To Rub Harder Or It Might Make The Area Raw. Is This A Type Of Rash, Or What? Should I Go To The Vet?
