YESSSSSSS , it happened to my shitsu mix dog

MY shitsu  had one too she was female and (passed away 5 Days ago from bladder cancer at 13 y 0.)

It was half inside half covering the outside area but not that small about 1/4 dime size)

Stupid Vet said it was a pimple type thing , when touched it was oozing white stuff so for a wk I left it alone she would scoot to try to scratch it, then it was oozing more and I thought well , if it were on me  wouldnt I get this thing off me????? Of course

So I went to a new vet asap and he said well any growth isn't normal and due to its sensitive location if it gets biggger it will become a BIG problem, so they removed it (did a pathology on it non cancer ,  )  it took 20 min.. She healed fine and it never happened again so answer is YES...

VET told me anything they get wrong with them is common sometimes also to humans thats why pets can take some of the same meds antibiotics etc pain meds we take .. VET told me once shlef life is done with pain meds etc they sell them to vets cheap so they arent as strong of course this is only certain meds.

Hi, it was the Vet that found the growth and he said not to worry. However, I couldn't help but worry. He said as long as it didn't grow, it would be alright as she has never gone into heat because I had her spayed at 6 months and also she is not yet a 3 year old Pomeranian. Yesterday, I took her to another Vet for a second opinion and the growth was not visible but he wants to see her in 6 more weeks to check after the antibiotic/steroid shot has a chance to wear off. Thanks for answering.
