Does your dog is showing other symptoms like loss of appetite, diarrhea, pacing, drooling etc? Occasional vomiting in dogs is not matter of great concern particularly if he is eating, drinking and playing well. If vomiting continues for more than 24 hours then it is a medical emergency that requires vet visit immediately.

There are many reasons of vomiting in dogs like gastritis, excess gastric acidity, over eating, eating rapidly, exercise after taking meals, food allergies, changes in diet, eating of grass or garbage, Gastrointestinal obstruction, intestinal parasites, intestinal and gastric tumors, liver disease, kidney disease, adrenal gland disease, heat stroke, middle ear infections, and some psychological disorders. It will be good to see a vet for differential diagnosis and best available treatment.

My Staff has given birth 10 days ago now and she is normally a very clean dog but she has been messing a lot inside the home; she has diarrhea and only settles now and again with the puppies; she is eating 2-3 tins per day but isn't putting on weight; her litter was of 9 so will this improve or stop in a certain amount of weeks; I do have her booked for the vets at the weekend but it is causing arguments with my partner and to be honest I hate the fact that it maybe upsetting her when he finds her messing and I am trying my best to stay on top of it but it is worrying as I love her very much and want to ensure she is ok!!
