Yorkie is small dog and can go in to first heat cycle at the age of 6 months to one year. Puberty depends upon her size. Usually larger body size can have early heat.
It is not recommended to breed in the first heat cycle of every dog. Ideally, breeding should be done in second heat cycle. At the age of one year, Yorkie is fully grown with increase in size and fully developed body. Breeding before one year of age can damage her bones.
