I would suggest going to a good health food store and buying the Bach Flower Essence product called "Rescue Remedy" as a starter, and also buying a homeopathic product called "Absinthium".  They are both pretty cheap - under $10 each.  Many health food stores do not carry homeopathic remedies, so you may want to call first.  Also, absinthium is only carried by some places that stock homeopathics - there again, call first.  One product that is easy to find is called "Bragg's Liquid Aminos" - comes in a large bottle and tastes like soy sauce.  It is usually easy to find.  You can even buy it at most Wal-Marts.  All of these products are good for seizures and won't harm the animal.  Rescue Remedy and the Bragg's are liquid, so administering them isn't too difficult.  The absinthium homeopathic comes in little pellets that you may want to put in a small soft food item to get the pet to eat them.  Use 1 pellet of absinthium and repeat every half-hour as needed.  As far as dosing the others, just try to get in around a tsp. Or so of the Bragg's, and a dropperful of the Rescue Remedy.  I hope this helps.

Our 12 year old cat had a severe allergic reaction to an over-the-counter flea and tick treatment.  We thought it would work fine, as the manufacturing company has been making pet products for many years.  The first thing we did was wash it off of her so that it couldn't keep entering her skin, or soaking her hair.  Then we got her to a vet as soon as we could.  The vet told us the smartest thing we did was get the treatment off her skin as quickly as we did, so Nascarnut's answer was partly right, and the other answers were absolutely right.  I hope that by now your kitty is doing all right, though, and she'll be fine now.

Yes, it was Hartz, which surprised me, in that their products has always been so reliable in the past. Our vet also told us to never use any of their products on our pets again! Thank you, and I wish you a lovely day!

Dog products on a cat? Mmmmm that's intelligent! Your poor cat is paying for your stupid mistake so the least you can do is get it to a vet, if you really care about it distance and money will be no object. You're wasting time by writing in so get on with it ASAP!

No, perhaps its not very nice but this is how animals end up dead when all people need to do is read instructions. Spare a thought for what the cat is going through then decide if I was too harsh.

DO NOT EVER PUT DOG PRODUCTS ON ANYTHING BUT A DOG! THAT IS WHY IT DOESN'T SAY DOG AND CAT FLEA POWDER! Now get the cat to a vet. Most of the time they will work out payment arrangements with you!

I did the same thing too and I can't find any advice but I learned that the best way to help is to wash all the flea powder off and get to a vet as soon as possible or it will DIE, I know this because my kitten died just yesterday. I feel like an idiot, like such a moron, its all my fault that my kitten is gone and I'm sitting here talking about it , but at least I know what not to do and to always have enough money for a vet.
