Many pets suffer from "cherry eye", a disease that causes drainage and inflammation in the eyes of pets. So you need to take your cat to vet as soon as possible.

Your cat may need a surgery to solve this problem. If this is an ordinary allergic disease then it can be cured easily with antiseptic. Eyes are sensitive parts so it is better to get her examined.

Usually this type of eye inflammation in feral cats is due to an upper respiratory infection like a cold. Usually accompanied by sneezing and stuffy nose. If you can vaccinate early this would keep this from happening. Once it occurs you need an antibiotic like Tylan 200 injectable. 1 cc for full grown cats three days in a row, 1/2 cc for half grown kittens and less for smaller kittens. I have given as little as 1/10 of a cc for those infected at a week old. Tylan 200 works best, Tylan 50 does not work. It is not strong enough to do the job, would require too much to inject.

First, please spay your cat. Several million cats each year are euthanized because there are no homes for them.

A vet should see and address the eye issue.
