Just adding to the previous answer...as your kitten gets older and they get more used to each other, it's natural if you see them trying to determine dominance. They should be fine, but if you hear any yowling, separate them quickly. Multiple cats are like a pride of lions...each cat needs to know their place. For instance, we have 4 cats; each cat came into the family at separate times.
Nala: Our oldest...she's more like a grandmother figure. While she is weaker, the other 3 respect her and know not to mess with her.
Teddy: Our dominant cat...he avoids new kittens for a while, then gradually begins tolerating them. Depending on the kitten gender, he either physically punishes the kitten or just growls at them and then walks away if they step out of line.
Twilight: Very submissive, thanks to Teddy. Annoyed easily by new kitten(like a teen would be with a younger sibling)...he sometimes fights/plays but usually just goes into a different room or outside.
Patches: Our new kitten. Definitely has dominant characteristics but she's learning to respect Nala and Teddy. She and Twilight are still trying to figure each other out, but they'll both learn.
