My Cat Hisses At Her 4 Mo. Old Kitten. I'm Starting To Think The Mother Cat Is Pregnant Again. Is This Behavior Normal?

It's perfectly normal! She's just doing what nature intended for her to do. When a kitten gets to a certain age, she'll hiss at them, basically telling them they need to go out on their own and leave the nest. If you want the kittens, she'll get used to them being around and stop. She isn't being a bad mom, that's just what cats do.

Same wit me. My cat had three kitins an now she only allows one to nurse. Now personaly, ive been bitin by al my kittens and the teeth on the first two are pretty sharp so its probably because her nipples are sore. So just scold your cat and eventually the kittens will get tha message

I tryed email you but it said could not find a email address match. I think the mother cat is letting the older kitten know that she or he can no longer nurse.

My cat had kittens about 4 months ago and ever since she got fixed, about a month ago, anytime her babies are around, he kisses and growls and even runs after them. I don't know why! I wish she would stop.! Does anyone know how?
