We had the same thing happen with our dog; just a really weird outburst where he stumbles and acts half paralyzed while walking in circles. He was older when I first saw it happen...like 6. But I've seen it happen 3 times now over the years (he's 9)
He never would whimper or act in pain...I wondered if he was having a stroke? He would cower and act ashamed. I would love to know the answer to your question too!
