How To Tell When My Labrador Will Have Her Puppies?

Gestation in all dogs including Labradors is same that is 63-66 days. Before start of labor in dogs, some signs of labor are noticed that start 8-48 hours before start of labor. These signs are

1. Nesting behaviour
2. Pacing and restlessness
3. Agitation
4. Reduced rectal temperature below 100 F
5. Loss of appetite

After appearance of these signs, labor starts in which uterine contractions take place. These contractions cause pain and dogs start to shake and strain to deliver puppy. This condition can last for 6-24 hours, first puppy is born.
