Watch the sore carefully. Is it growing rapidly or is it irregular in shape. Is there inflammation around it or blood is expected to come out of it? Is it a bulge that is hard? Is it painful? If all these symptoms are there then it is a matter of deep concern as it can be sting which is if not properly treated can be changed into a tumor. Take it to vet for a proper check up if it does not heal in few days.
