Dogs are pregnant for 58-63 days or about 2 months! They go into heat normally every 6 months, so after your Basset whelps (delivers) this litter of puppies, she should go into heat again about 4 months after that, in which she can get pregnant again. Please do not allow that to happen. Please get your female Spayed. There are so many innocent animals in Shelters being Euthanized daily, because there are not enough homes to adopt them all. It's very sad! Please don't add to the problem, by continuously breeding your dog.
