Large but not as large as a great dane. I actually raised a pitbull mix with german shepherd dog. He was so cute and very brute looking. He had his daily walks and special activities 3 times a week. Fortunately, he turned out to be fit and very healthy. His average weight was in the 70 lbs range because he had mostly the german shepherd height and color appearance.
