He might have a bladder infection. It happens mostly in male cats.

He probably had some kind of urinary problem as a kitten, some will also pee when over excited...

It is because it has the pee smell on it and the cat keeps doing it on the same spot. Use bleach or a strong disinfectant to get rid of the smell or buy a new cushion, throw the one with the pee smell away. Hope this helps :) good luck!

My cat is a siamese, persian, and tiger cat mixed. He is neautered and is a two year old male.. I've done everything from changing his litter box right after he poops or pees too squirting him with water and scolding him everytime he urinates or poops on his bed or my clothes or my bed.. Why is he doing this? What is there I can do to get him to stop? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated..

Sincerely,

Lindsay

Are you using that natural wood cat litter, we had that problem and then changed from the big wood cat litter to the catsan small white clay type litter and problem solved. Don't think they liked the feeling of it under their feet!
