Some of the diseases are truly a horrible death . Many of the diseases  can be contracted be stepping in infected feces of a dog with parvo. Or stepping in urine or sniffing urine from a raccoon.Do you ave garbage cans that are visited by raccoons? Or even from the ground that has been infected with distemper.Anywhere you walk your dog may be a potential hazard for picking up many viruses and parasites and bacterias.
