How Will I Know My German Shepherd Is Ready To Give Birth?

If your German Shepherd is pregnant and approaching towards end of her gestation then she can show some changes which can suggest that she will be in labor very soon. These changes can be

1. Agitation
2. Restlessness/pacing
3. Loss of appetite
4. Reduced rectal temperature below 100 F
5. Nesting behavior

When labor starts, she will also shake due to pain and strain to push puppy outside. These are few indication of labor in your dog. You can also get help of your vet for whelping in your dog.
