Can You Give A Baby Dwarf Hamster Whole Milk?

If the mother has died and there is no milk available take the babies to the vet and the vet will help you feed and wean them. However, if the mother is still alive and healthy you shouldnt need to feed the pups (baby hamsters) any milk. The mother will take care of them until they are old enough to be weaned.

Do not feed baby hampsters any human milk it is hard for them to digest it sorry if my spelling isn't grate just trying to help um normaly if you are feeding baby hamsters they are so little that only the lucky ones will make it what you need to do if you don't have the money for a vet bill is go to the pet store and get dry kitten milk formula the powder kind cause if you just get the milk you buy the whole can and it goes bad for those cans are for big eating kittens and you have small hamsters so try to get the powder you have to mix yourself you will save yourself money and time do as the instructions say on mixing it and get a small tipped dropper as small as you can find for their small mouths feed them or try to feed them every time they are awake you want to try to keep them warm so your best bet it to put them under a low heat lamp not a heating pad this may be to much heat unless you can leave it on low then you still want to check on them you will need to get a tissue and Soke it with hot water and squeeze it out let it cool if it is steaming hot still till really kinda warm and whipe they stomach and bottom area for this helps them potty :) in nice words you need to do this about every hour if you can I have had to take care of a littler before because the mom died while given birth I wasnt home and my sister scared her into a heart atack while she was delivering so I had to get the rest of the baby that she was giving birth to at the time out and only had three babies out of here and no idea what to do so only one boy lived the one I saves how I know it was the same one because the tip of his ear was missing for when he was a baby the father was going to eat him but I got there early enuff to save him his name is gizmo and I have gotten at least 6 to 8 litters from him I recently have baby hamsters that I am taken care of because the mom was to crazy and wild probly young as well to even care for them I left them in there a day hopen she would notice they where there but no luck she just don't care so now I'm trying to take care of the 6 new babys I have most of the time unless you have done this more than twice the babies wont live unless your lucky and they are luck and strong so there is you a story or two of mine and some helpfull tips on how I saved my beautifull healthy gizmo and hope to same these 6 new babies so I can someday name them I hope you have a lot of free time and luck for you will need it have fun with this byeeeee

This also helps to make your hamsters very friendly my gizmo has never bit anyone in fact when you put your hand in the cage to give them food he crawls in your hand wanting you to hold him he is the sweetest but I would not recomend you doing this for any of your babies just the ones that are in dier need of help

Well what I know is cows and goats milk is great for baby animals to grow up oh and dogs milk it makes them strong and healthy you can get dogs milk at some pet stores and stuff so I hope I helped bye

Don't FEED THEM SKIM OR NORMAL MILK!!!! You need to feed them tiger milk or cat's milk. The skim and normal will kill them... Or just gust give them realy bad bloating.

Probably so but then the vet might have to do it. if not then the mom should feed it. plus wait until hamsters are old enough to eat hamster mix.

I read somewhere that a orphan baby hamster can have baby milk formula for humans.. Not sure

You could give them skim milk and put it in a dropper or you could buy kitten milk formula which you could buy in any pet shops.
