I use Dawn to bath my dog. She was breaking out with bumps when I was using Pet shampoo. I would not bathe a cat. They clean themselves.

There is no need to bathe cats. They groom themselves very well, but if you have to use Dawn liquid soap or Johnson's baby shampoo, instead. They are much gentler on the animals. Not Palmolive.
