The first thing I would do is to have someone hold down the mother rabbit making sure she will not kick her babies. Put a couple babies on her to feed at a time. If that does not work, try getting some KMR (Kitten milk replacement) and some Probios and mix them together. Just a little. If they are new born feed them 1/2 cc of the mixture. At two weeks then 1cc. I found the answer through a vet page on the internet. Good luck.

My rabbit had seven babies, one was born the next day and the mother must have pulled it out because it was all tore up and dead.   Now she won't feed her other babies and is shaking all the time and sneezing.   Could she be really ill????

The mother will only feed the babies every 24 hours, so it is possible that you are not seeing her feed them.  To be sure that they are being fed, check them every morning (because the mother usually feeds them between midnight and 5 am) and weigh them on a scale.  They should be gaining about 1/4 oz or so and their bellies will be round.  Hope this helps.

Only just seen your question - I do hope the kits are still alive. If the mother still isn't feeding them, one thing that might help is this: I remember my sister adopted a baby rabbit she found, and fed him milk and water in an old-fashioned fountain pen filler. You could try any small teat-like rubber thing of this kind - but only give them a little, cow milk can't be that good for rabbits.

As for mother, if she had a little more space perhaps? Sometimes rabbits reject their babies if they feel overcrowded. But sometimes they just won't feed them.

I do hope all goes well.

Hand feed her. So that she will eat out of your hand and after about 2 or 4 weeks then put a bowl.
