I give my pit 1 raw egg every 2 weeks mixed well with her dry dog food in the morning. Then every other week she gets 2 scrambled eggs with her morning feed. If urs is picky like mine she will prefer one over the other. My pit is spoiled and likes her eggs scrambled with 2 pieces of toast. (dry no butter). Feeding your dog eggs is great for their coat and makes it beautiful and shiney and soft.
Dogs should get a very structured holistic (raw food) diet or be on a quality human grade dry kibble (the best is without corn and grain). Adding some eggs into their diet may be a nutritious treat. They can eat eggs everyday if you like, but not as a substitute for other foods or their kibble. Eggs have the most nutritional value for dogs if uncooked. Egg whites have no nutritional value.
