The dog's color has absolutely nothing to do with litter sizes. American Pit Bull Terriers(and they are all the same breed, no matter what color, so forget that silly myth that "red-nose" and "blue-nose", etc. Are all different breeds)typically have between four and 10 puppies, though larger litters are possible and not that uncommon. The mother dog's age and health have more to do with her litter sizes than what color she is, although female dogs who were themselves part of a large litter when they were born do tend to have big litters themselves when they are adults, so genes probably play a role, too.
