Black Widow bites can cause what appears to be seizures, since this venom attacks the central nervous system. Most spider venom is harmless to dogs and humans. Seizures in dogs are much more likely to be caused by other things, such as ingested poisons, brain injuries, intestinal worms(yes, worms), or even real epilepsy, which is fairly common in dogs.
