If your cat is throwing up red liquid, that liquid is Blood. What you need to do right now, is take your cat to the closest Emergency Vet in your area. Throwing up blood, is a sign of Internal Bleeding and if you don't act fast enough in getting your cat to a vet, then you can lose your cat. Throwing up blood is always a very bad sign.
