Lameness can be due to soft tissue trauma, bony fracture, bony infection, bony cancer, arthritis, and developmental diseases. Have your dog examined by a veterinarian. They will do a thorough examination and may need to take x-rays. Treatment varies pending diagnosis. Pain medication and rest will also play a large role in helping your dog.
