How Do Rabbits Take Care Of Their Babies?

Before the rabbits have babies she will line the nest with fur that she pulls from her body. After the babies are born she will go into the nest box to feed her babies. I have raised rabbits for year. Normally you wont see the mother rabbit feed her young until the babies are old enough to go to her to feed.

I was cleaning a plant bed and found a rabbit nest.  I started to clean around fur before I realized it was a rabbit nest.  We placed hay over it. Will mommy come back & feed?
