Both times my yellow female and my chocolate male had a litter we had all three colors.  1st litter was 2 yellows 1-male 1-female, 3 blacks all 3 males, and 4 chocolate, 3- females 1-male.
2nd litter we had 5 yellows 2-males 3-females, 2 black 1-male 1-females, and three chocolates all males.

You might get both colors in the litter and you might get only one. I think you will get both. That is good people will have a choice of what color they want

I have a black lab bred from a chocolate female and a yellow male. Her litter consisted of 1 choc. 2 yellow 2 black.

Pending on the dogs genetic history you could end up a mix, but if you have a black lab history in both male ad female, most are usually black.

Either color and possibly black. You will not get 2 colors like yellow and chocolate on one pup but you can different tones in your chocolate and the yellow will show shading. The yellows come in a wide range of shades, the chocolate come in fewer shades. Please don't breed Labs though. Check your pound, they're in there, #1 dog in pounds or mixes thereof. The world doesn't need anymore Labs right now. In fact there should be a moratorium on them for several years.

I think the question was what color! Not if they should or shouldn't. You are entitled to your oppinion but this site is for questions and answers. So you should wait until someone asks if breeding of labs is a good idea. Then voice your oppinion. I thank you for your consideration.

I think labs should be the only dog bred. You went totally off the question. You can get any range. Black yellow or chocolate. Mine is black. Her father was yellow and her mother was chocolate and all the pups came out black or yellow.

Ok seriously you don't tell someone not to breed labs. They've been number 12 in the nation for the past however many years running. They're good dogs. I am lab breeder and all my pups are born as soon as they're reserved. People LOVE labs.
