Your dog is having a seizure, which can be caused by epilepsy or a pancreatic tumor. Our dog is epileptic and has been this way for years. The seizures are random. If it is epilepsy, it will have to go on phenobarbital, to reduce the frequency and severity, but can still maintain a great quality of life.

It could be the flea collar or flea control medicine. There are numerous cases wheres Hartz poison has injured animals.

Has your dog been vaccinated for Rabies? Could your dog have gotten into something Poisonous? Could your dog have had a Seizure? Usually Foaming at the mouth and Shivering could be signs of many things, all serious medical issues. Shivering can also be a sign that your dog is in severe pain. I would consider this an Emergency and If I was you, I would get off your computer right this second and get your dog to a vet FAST, because that is the only person qualified to help your dog! Depending on how serious this situation is and what caused these symptoms, then you need to not waste anymore time that your dog doesn't have and get it to a vet NOW! You may lose him if you do!

Consult with the online vet. Foaming and shaking has several causes. The animal needs to be examined urgently by a vet.
