I Have A Chinese Dwarf Hamster, And Her Nails Are So Long That They Are Starting To Curl. Is There Something I Can Do To Help Her Nails Stay Short And Trim?

These nails need to be trimmed. If you cannot trim the nails yourself then take this hamster to a veterinary clinic so they can trim the nails. Sand paper or other environmental modifications can help prevent nails from overgrowing but will not solve the problem now. It is important to trim the nails before they grow into the pad causing pain and infection.

Hey there.

Put some sand paper in the cage for them to walk over, this will help long term. But if they are tame enough cute them with nail scissors and then use a human nail file to round off the edges
