Yes, because her temperature is up due to all the hard work. It is also normal for her to run a temperature and pant for up to two days after the birth. So don't panic. If you are concerned, take her to the vet.

Yes it is very normal for dogs to pant after giving birth.  Puppies sucking on the nipples stimulates the uterus to contract.  The panting is from this process.  They can pant up to a few weeks after delivering her pups.

Yes dogs can pant for days after giving birth, like humans dogs still contract after birth to get their uterus etc back to normal the panting is not unlike the birth panting but it is quite normal for up to 10 days after birth.  If panting however accompanies cries whining or other distress signs it could be cause for concern like a non delivered placenta or pup.  Always get your Dam vet checked as soon after birth as possible to rule this out.

My dogs regularly pant after birthing.  My vet said its just hormones, its normal and will go away within the week.  As long as the dog is eating and drinking and acting normal and caring for her puppies, I wouldnt worry.

It would not be unusual as giving birth is a very physical, strenuous and stressful experience. Women are worn out after the act so it would not be uncommon for a dog to be exhausted after giving birth..
