If it is a small toy type dog breed try giving it some sugar on the tongue you might think this strange but small breed dogs find it hard to keep sugar levels up because their so small, so make sure it eats about 4 or 5 times a day toy breed puppies need a highprotein/highcarbohydrate diet and if the gums look pale thats a sure sign of hypoglycemia which is the term used for this condition. Hope this helped and hurry because this can be fatal to young pups.

I have a 4 month old chihuahua, and my husband and I used to breed pomeranians. Small dogs do tend to have low blood sugar spells. I, after talking to my veterinarian, put a little light (clear) Kayro syrup on the end of my finger and a little in her water. After two hours, they are up and running through the house as if nothing had ever happened. Do keep track of these incidents and if they occur often, then definitely take your puppy to the vet. Also if there are other symptoms like diarrhea, take them to the vet.
Good luck and God bless,
Mari

Your puppy may simply be cold, try covering it with a small blanket. If he doesn't improve best to check his condition with a vet.

If all this shaking continues...instead of waiting for Answers you should really take it to the vet.

Its best to ask an expert just in case its something serious.

I would immediatly take the puppy to the vet. If this is a new puppy to the home or there are new dogs in the home he or she could be nervous but I would not wait I would call the vet, There are many things this could be.

Small dogs have a tendancy to have low blood sugar. Are vet suggested small doses of honey. And to give them a little gatorade mixed in their water.

My puppy did   that everyday and we realised that it was afraid of our other dog so they shake when they are either scared , cold, sometimes when they are hungry or they are injured. Thatnks I hoped I helped you a bit.
Happy Nelson Mandela Day!!!!!!
