If you dog has leaky eyes and nose as well as the foam and no eating it could quite possibly have distemper which is a fatal and uncurable disease...get him/her to the vet asap and if he/she is diagnosed with distemper the best thing to do would be to get him/her put down cause it only geets worse and very painful and scary...the dog on some occasions can turn on the owner causr their brain starts to detirierate and they go mental...it is a horrible disease...our dog went through it during an outbreak in the valley we lived in and it was pretty traumatizing...get your dog to a vet immediately...but you prolly know by now what it is, it usually only takes a few days once the symptoms appear...good luck...and best wishes ...I truly hope that it's not distemper...distemper can be preventable if you have a good vet...unfortunately for us our vet was useless and gave him his shots to early and then misdiagnosed him and gave him his next shots and flared his disease and killed him the slow and painful way...I'm still traumatized and it's been 13 years since the incident.

Sometimes a dog that is outside likes to play with frogs, Some frogs have something in their skin for protection and this may be what has happened. Or, it could be from eating a bug with the same kind of protection glands. I have also seen dogs eat a kind of grass that will make them throw-up when their tummy's are up-set, and yes; this to will cause them to foam-up to throw-up.

Your dog is not eating due to canine bloat because dogs lose their appetite when get sick. Bloat can cause restless in dogs because of filling of gases in stomach after eating that can lead to twisting of stomach. This condition in dogs can be due to over eating, rapid eating, psychological problems, and eating of dry foods. Symptoms of bloat in dogs are
  1. Unproductive or foamy vomiting
  2. Restlessness and pacing
  3. Drooling
So, get blood test of your dog to diagnose the problem by visiting a vet.

How is he in himself is he active? If not take him straight to the vet please as this could be a sign that he has a blockage in his intestines and needs surgery as this is fatal. But if hes just being sick and acting himself he could of just eaten something he shouldnt its still good to take him to the vet as there is an increase in heart worms not only in america but england as well and if left untreated this is also fatal to dogs. Try him on some scrambled egg as its easy on the tum. Hope everything goes ok.
