I don't know why, there are too many options but go to the vet. They eat things they shouldn't and get very sick and blockages. They usually have smaller tracheas but sometimes they will have a larger one and that can be a big issue. Megaesophagus. Brachiocephalic syndrome. Some of these things can cause them to aspirate. You need to have your pup seen as soon as possible.
