Lymph nodes are part of immune system and swelling in lymph nodes can be due to infection. Fever, lethargy and shivering in your dog can be due to this infection. So, in my opinion, you should take your dog to vet for proper diagnosis and treatment. Your vet may prescribe antibiotics in case of bacterial infection.
