It's genus is feline, and they have claws and teeth, to help them hunt if they are not a domesticated cat, and they also use their ears to locate and find food. When domesticated, they can be very affectionate, and loving with you. They are soft and aren't really too terribly messy. A great companion for the elderly, and even younger people. They are able to purr, and it is still not known how a cat is capable or purring, but it is believed that this is a sign of being content and happy. Hope this helps.
