Dogs can eat chicken bones, it's a complete myth that they can't.  Wolfs and wild dogs have lived on scavenged and caught fowl for millennia and will do for another 2 or 3.   This myth gets passed from one dog owner to the next without any body ever giving any evidence.

I have fed my dogs chickens bones for years and not only do they not choke on the bones but they also happily digest them, as dogs do with bones, leaving a slightly dry but perfectly digested stool.

A swan can break a mans arm, but does anyone know a man who had their arm broken by a swan.....

Bones aren't good for your dog, period. They can choke or become stuck in the dogs intestines or stomach.

Because the chicken bon will splinter and the dog could get splinters in the mouth.

Yeah pet food companies say dogs can't eat chicken bones, wonder why since they have lived long before pet food companies existed.  Also, I wonder how some countries which do not sell dog food like we do in western world feed their dogs, you people are stupid!

Chicken bones are small and when broken and chewed they are so dangerous. They can lodge in your dogs throat and your pet will choke. Always thrown chicken bones in a garbage that your pet cannot get into.

The bones will lodge in the dogs gums and cause infection. I had a dog that this happened to and it was really painful for him.He had to have surgery and almost lost his eye sight.
